Create your file in CMYK mode with a resolution of 300dpi.
If you file has been created in RGB or includes RGB objects, we recommend converting the file to CMYK.
Your artwork should reflect only what you need to be printed in the final product. Do not include bleeding or crop marks in your artwork and make certain is sent in the same size as you have ordered or in the same ratio.
Due to the material's perforation this product does not required wind-holes or hemming. However, the corners are re-enforce with a double layer of polyester to secure the grommets selected. In order to provide you the fastest turn around, all artworks for Large Format products are sent directly to press and we do not have a PDF proof option available. We will not be responsible for any reprints if your file is sent in size ratio different than the measurements specified in your order. If you need a decimal size or special size, you requested through our "Estimate" section.
If you are working with vector images (in programs like Adobe Illustrator), the final size artwork is not necessary unless you have placed photographs into your document. Then the above guidelines will apply.
All fonts should be converted to curves or outlines. We suggest your files to be flatten or rasterized if possible to minimize the file size.
We accept the following file formats: EPS, TIF, PSD, & PDF files. JPG files are accepted, but they must be prepared properly (It's strongly suggested that the JPG is created the closest size possible to the final print size or at least in a 50% scale with 300dpi).

Grommets provide a convenient method for hanging or attaching the banner at regular points. This distributes the weight and helps to keep the banner from sagging. For our grommets we use Silver Nickel Grommets Size #2. (3/4" outside diameter with a hole diameter of 3/8") You may chose one of our options to accommodate to your needs.
(All Banners equal and smaller than 4ft x 2ft will only include grommets in the corners.)
Standard Grommets: Silver grommets are evenly place along the edge of your banners, including the corners, on an average of every 3ft.
(Ex. A banner 8' X 4' would have 4 grommets on top and 4 grommets on bottom.)
4 Corners Grommets: Grommets are placed only on the 4 corners of the banner.
All Banners equal and smaller than 4ft x 2ft will only include grommets in the corners.
Standard Grommets Top Only: Grommets are evenly place only on the top edge of your banners on an average of every 3ft.
Top Corners Only: Grommets are placed only on Top corners of the banner.
Holding Grommets (Pole Pocket Banners Only): Holding grommets refers to our sliver nickel grommets placed on the edges right were the pole pocket starts. These grommets improve the strength of the pole pocket for heavier rods or poles. This option is also gives the banner the option to be hanged by the grommets when poles are not available

1" Pole pockets are made by folding an extra 3 inches of blank media towards the back side of the banner and taping it together with industrial double sided tape. The 1" Pole Pocket accommodates for Poles or Rods up to 1" in diameter. If you need a pole pocket for a pole thicker than 1" please indicated in the Special Instructions Box at the time of uploading your artwork or contact us for advice.
For Large Banners a hemmed Pole Pocket may be more suitable, please contact us for advice. In case your banner requires hemming, your artwork should include a "safety zone" of 3", within your final output size, along the side(s) that the pole pocket(s) will be created. Avoid any important text or logos in this area.
If you have a white background in your artwork please include a bounding box with a 1pt stroke in gray color.
For 8 feet (height) banners please be advised that the pole pockets will reduce your final size 6 inches due to the pocket fold. Pole pockets running longer than 8 feet may include an extra charge of $5.00.

Wind Slits are slit cuts into the banner with the intent of giving
the wind a way to blow through the banner and reduce the stress on the banner or on how the banner is installed. These cuts are made in the shape of a half circle or half-moon. Wind Slits are positioned with discretion to not interfere with any main or important text in the design of the banner.
